Baracuta celebrates its heritage with a new collaboration with renowned British photographer Gavin Watson, whose work has chronicled youth culture and subcultures across the UK for over four decades.
Gavin Watson first rose to prominence through his raw, intimate documentation of skinhead culture in Britain, captured from the inside with authenticity and respect. Best known for his influential book Skins, which inspired the groundbreaking film This Is England, Watson has spent over four decades photographing subcultures, anti-establishment figures, and the everyday realities of British youth. Throughout his body of work, the Harrington jacket repeatedly appears as a symbol of identity, belonging, and rebellion.
The G9 Gavin Watson Patches jacket merges this legacy with the iconic G9 design. Made in the UK, it features a ribbed dog‑ear collar with double‑button closure, raglan sleeves, umbrella back yoke, and practical pockets throughout. Unique to this edition, Gavin Watson’s photo gallery patches appear on the chest and arms, turning the jacket into a wearable showcase of his work.
