Originally developed as rugged workwear for field hands and factory laborers, the Chore Coat has long stood as a dependable layer in demanding conditions. Constructed from tough reverse-sateen fabric, it's built to resist wear and endure hard use.

Its most distinctive feature is its abundance of pockets, essential for carrying tools and small everyday items. This version honors that legacy, offering the same utility that made it a staple across trades. It features four front pockets: a flap-covered left chest pocket, a right chest pocket with a pencil or penlight slot stamped with the Filson logo, and a discreet interior pocket for added function. The collar is lined with thick cotton corduroy for comfort and a refined finish. Adjustable cuffs provide a secure fit through long days in the field or workshop. Garment-dyed for a broken-in feel from the first day.
