Made using 1960s–70s production recipes, the fabric faithfully recreates the authentic look and feel of the vintage Universal Overall denim originally offered. Functional workwear details, including oversized pockets and a hammer loop, highlight the garment’s utilitarian heritage, while the moderately wide silhouette provides comfort and a timeless appearance.
As a new remake concept, the patch areas incorporate fabric inspired by sashiko, a traditional Japanese stitching technique. Hand-stitched details are added in select areas, showcasing the craftsmanship and skill behind the uniquely finished design.
